WISH LIST
2010-2011
The Washington Middle School for Girls, an independent institution, depends on the financial support of foundations, local businesses, and concerned individuals. The small monthly stipend paid by student families that can afford to do so is not adequate to provide these children with the high quality education we want to provide.
The school requires funding to continue the mission and its promise for girls in this neighborhood, and to support long-term operations and special projects.
Monetary donations toward general operations costs are always appreciated, and allow the school flexibility to apply funding where needed. In addition, the school offers a variety of opportunities for organizations and concerned individuals to be part of this work. Student sponsorship, mentoring and tutoring, and additional volunteer programs are structured to offer various kinds and levels of interaction with individual students. All contributions of time, talent, and in-kind donations, as well as financial support are always welcomed and deeply appreciated.
