WMSG Celebrates the Season of Peace

The students and staff of the Washington Middle School for Girls began the holiday season with a hearty Thanksgiving dinner to which everyone contributed a special dish or tradition. It has become a custom to invite our senior citizen friends from The Walker House to enjoy the meal along with us. Students volunteered to serve this festive meal to all invitees. On to Christmas, when students were able to thank a number of people who were very generous to WMSG, such as Mr. Paul Warren, a Board Member, who delivered physical education equipment and other goodies from Blessed Sacrament Parish in Washington, D.C., as well as have a very special celebration before departing for the holiday break. During this holiday gathering, those students who achieved high academics during the semester were honored.
